The Protekt 300 pressure redistribution foam mattress utilizes high density foam to address the pressure prevention needs of moderate to high risk patients – it places a particular emphasis on care of the sensitve sacral and heel areas. It features an anti-microbial premium four-way stretch cover that is also low shear and reduces perspiration. The Protekt 300’s top layer has a high density foam in the head/torso section and high resilient foam in heel section. The heel section also features air channel cut foam and slope for pressure reduction. These features, added to enhanced side support for easier patient transfers, makes the Protekt 300 an excellent pressure redistribution tool.
